There is so much to say about this beautiful engagement shoot, I am not even sure where to begin. Being an adventurous couple, Irene and Matt were basically up for anything! (Note: photographers dream client!!) With this in mind I sent them a couple of “adventure” options, and we decided on a sunrise shoot in Joshua Tree National Park. We booked the weekend, secured our AirBNB’s and set out for an incredible shoot.
A color palette to remember! Irene purchased her beautiful dresses at BHLDN, arranged for hair and makeup, rented an awesome vintage bike from Just Ride LA, and decided on her wedding florist, Rooted Florals who crafted the most beautiful engagement bouquet. Irene and Matt even packed their newest addition, Poppy!
We started our adventure in the dark and ended with a sun-drenched family portrait session with lots of puppy love.

Irene’s stunning bouquet by Rooted Florals was made up of vibrant ranunculus, ruffly lisianthus, cafe roses and some bitter sweet to create a bouquet that felt bright & colorful, yet moody and romantic. The beautiful ribbon was hand died by Tono + Co.
